Life Back on Track Relay

Hello!

A former college teammate of mine, Ryan Foster, is organizing a 1000 mile relay world record attempt to benefit the Kevin Dare Foundation.  This is a great event and I would have loved to participate if I was not going to the Kauai Marathon.  Please read through the press release and spread the word.  It’s events like this that make you realize how many truly terrific people are in the sport of long distance running!

THE LIFE BACK ON TRACK RELAY

10 Men – Minneapolis to State College – 1,000 Miles – ANew World Record

August 26, The Kevin Dare Foundation is sending a team of ten runners to conquer the World Record for a 1,000 mile relay.  The runners will run from Minneapolis, MN, to State College, PA, in under 99 hours.  For more information click HERE.

DONATE

The run is also raising money for The Kevin Dare Foundation, so we’ve gone and made it super easy to donate: Just click HERE to donate on our Razoo website

FUN FACTS

A razoo is a “non-existent coin of trivial value” (to us no amount is trivial – every razoo matters!) 1000 miles is 38.2 marathons back-to-back.  During the run the team will burn the same number of calories that are in 230 Big Macs! The runners will average over 10 miles per hour for the entire distance!

THANK YOU FOR YOUR GENEROUS SUPPORT!
